2. Hosting and technical delivery

This website is hosted by Netlify. The provider is Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA. Netlify delivers the content through a globally distributed content delivery network (CDN).

When the website is accessed, Netlify processes technically necessary connection data, in particular the IP address, date and time, requested content, referrer, browser and device information. This processing is necessary for secure, stable and efficient delivery. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest is the secure operation of this website. I do not have direct access to infrastructure logs.

Processing in the United States or other countries outside the EEA cannot be ruled out. Netlify refers in particular to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and EU Standard Contractual Clauses in its Data Processing Agreement. Further information is available in Netlify’s privacy policy and the Data Processing Agreement.

3. Cookies and analytics

I do not use analytics, marketing or tracking services on this website and do not automatically embed external media. The hosting platform may use necessary storage technologies for technical delivery or access control. I do not use this information for advertising.

4. Contact

The website does not contain a contact form. If you email me, I process your sender address, message and other information provided in order to respond. Depending on the request, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. The information is deleted once the matter has been completed, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

5. External links

Links to LinkedIn, XING, publications, media outlets and project partners are references only. A connection to those providers is established only after you open a link. Their own privacy notices then apply.

6. Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. Consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.

7. Complaints

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. In particular, you may contact the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision, Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany. The authority provides an online complaint service.
